This shop is built to be used with a keyboard, with a screen reader, or on a phone held in one hand. It is measured that way rather than assumed.

What is checked, and how

Every page is measured on the rendered screen at 1440 and at 390 pixels wide, against twenty-one measures. Not the code. The screen.

What those measures cover

The contrast of every run of text against the pixels actually painted behind it. A floor of 44 pixels on anything you tap. A floor of 14 pixels on any text that carries meaning.

Movement stops completely for anyone whose device asks for less of it. Every section is readable with no script running at all.

Where we fall short

Three small blocks of text on the strip pages sit a few percent off the centre of their own line.

The site uses four typefaces where the standard we hold ourselves to allows three. The fourth is part of the Vessel brand and we have kept it deliberately.
